Unmask Teen Summer Reading

The tests and assignments are done. Now is the time you can catch up on the reading YOU want to do. Read what you want and get rewarded for it in our Teen Tween Summer Reading Challenge for incoming 6th through 12th graders.  Pick up a summer reading form at either library, read 5 books from June 1 to August 31, record the books, and turn in your form between July 15 and August 31 to receive a free prize book.

Prizes!

  • Free prize book for finishing!  You get to pick from a large selection.
  • Visit the library before July 15 to sign up for summer reading and you can enter a special prize drawing for a Powell’s gift card.  10 winners at each library.
  • Those voracious readers out there can read 10 books to be entered in the grand prize drawing for a set of gift cards worth $100.
  • There is also a variety of other sign-up incentives and finisher prizes, including an Oak’s Park Pass.
